Ms. McConnell- Science & Social Studies

Hello! My name is Ms. McConnell, and I’m thrilled to be joining the team as a 5th grade science and social studies teacher here at Park Meadows. This is my first year as a certified teacher, and I’m excited to bring my passion for learning and teaching into the classroom. Prior to this role, I worked as a paraprofessional at another elementary school within our district, where I gained valuable experience supporting student growth and success.

I’m passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued, respected, and encouraged to explore and ask questions. I believe that learning should be engaging, meaningful, and fun—especially when it comes to discovering the wonders of science and the stories of our world through social studies.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, gaming, coloring, and listening to music. I bring my creativity and love for learning into the classroom each day, and I look forward to building a strong classroom community where all students can thrive.
