Hi! Welcome to Room 419, the Reading Room. I am one of the Reading Specialists at Park Meadows. I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with your child! I have been teaching for 29 years! My career as a teacher has included teaching first and second grade. Reading is a passion and something that brings me great joy. Walking into a book store is comforting, the smell of the pages is relaxing. I know this isn't the same for everyone. I look forward to helping your child gain a stronger foundation in reading and perhaps develop a love for books.
I am originally from Connecticut. My husband and I have three amazing boys! We have a very active five-year-old lab. His name is Duke. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, reading, baking, traveling. I am looking forward to a fabulous year!
