4th Grade
Fourth-graders will read more complex books and articles to find morals, themes, problems and solutions. They will also multiply and divide multidigit numbers, convert fractions to decimals and add and subtract decimals.
Encourage your children to read independently for at least 30 minutes a day, and then explain the setting, characters and main idea of the book or article. Have your children practice fractions by helping with food measurements.
