Wish List

Even though our classroom is a learning center, we need the same supplies used in homerooms:
This certainly is not mandatory but very much appreciated!

  • wipes
  • hand sanitizer
  • paper towels
  • tissues
  • copy and lined paper

Suggestions for Home

  • A good night's sleep is integral for your child's performance and success.
  • Breakfast is provided at school but if your student prefers something different, please provide it to bring to school or make sure they eat at home.
  • Read with your child for at least 20 minutes every day. Make sure they read out loud.
  • All absences and late arrivals result in missed instruction which negatively impacts success.
  • I will attend parent-teacher conferences when possible. If I am not able to attend due to duplicate timed meetings for other students, feel free to schedule a meeting with me.
  • IEP progress reports are not necessarily aligned with general education grade level standards and expectations.
  • I do not assign homework but make sure you are familiar with your student's homeroom and content area teachers' expectations.
  • Please mark your calendars for meetings and respect dates and times. Most meetings include a team of several people and rescheduling is challenging.

Thank you for your your care.
